INTELLIGENT PATTERN DIGITISING
iDigit is a software-based 2D pattern digitising system that converts pictures taken by an ordinary camera or mobile phone into accurate vector data that can be saved in various CAD formats including Dxf, HPGL and PDF.
Thanks to iDigit’s cutting-edge auto-calibration algorithms no pre-calibration is required, which allows the camera to be used in a flexible manner. iDigit automatically corrects various optical challenges such as lens distortion, distance, angle, as well as light and blur; all thanks to the algorithms meticulously engineered in accordance with the experience we’ve accumulated from thousands of iDigit installations worldwide over the past 10+ years.
iDigit combats lens distortions and surface irregularities with tailored correction algorithms and a solid board surface, ensuring high-resolution, precise digitisation. Accuracy standards meet industry-specific requirements, even under stringent conditions.
Accurate
Adapt to any workspace with
iDigit's flexible setup options:
wall-fixed, mobile stand, or table placement. It works with all pattern sizes and materials, providing ideal contrast and digitising area through customisable board colours and sizes. Use handheld, tripod, or boom-mounted cameras for convenience.
Versatile
iDigit thrives in diverse
environments, outlasting traditional hardware digitisers. It's software-based, requiring no special cameras or electronic parts, ensuring longevity and reliability in your pattern digitisation needs.
Reliable
Quickly digitises patterns in seconds with additional rich functionality through a simple UI for editing or creating patterns, enhancing workflow speed.
Fast
Automatically adjusts to environmental changes using onboard printed circles, ensuring accurate, scale-consistent results without pre-calibration. iDigit simplifies setup and allows flexible camera positioning, including handheld use.
Automatic
Packed with advanced features in an intuitive, easy-to-learn interface, iDigit simplifies user interaction, allowing efficient operation after just one hour of training.
User Friendly
HOW IT WORKS
It’s really simple. Once the patterns are placed on the iDigit board, a picture is taken and fed into the iDigit software.
Capture
The next step is done automatically, which is detection of pattern outlines and their features such as notches and cut-outs.
Review patterns
Users can review their patterns, make modifications or additions if needed, and export their patterns in DXF, AAMA DXF, HPGL or PDF.
